Director of Resource Organizing
The City School is seeking a Director of Resource Organizing to lead our fundraising, grant development, and community-based resource strategies. This role strengthens the systems that keep our youth leadership and social justice programs thriving.
The Director will manage grants, build donor and funder relationships, co-lead fundraising events and campaigns, and help shape a resource organizing strategy rooted in equity and collective care. The position also supports our Social Justice Education Institute (SJEI), and collaborates closely with staff, youth, and community partners.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our Upham’s Corner office in Dorchester, with generous benefits and dedicated organizational rest periods.

Director of Programs & Strategy
The City School is seeking a Director of Programs & Strategy to join our senior leadership team and help guide the vision, strategy, and impact of our youth leadership and social justice programs. This role is ideal for someone who loves working directly with young people, supporting staff development, and shaping the direction of a mission-driven, movement-rooted organization.
The Director of Programs & Strategy supervises program directors and staff, supports curriculum and program development across our core youth programs, co-leads organizational strategy, and represents TCS in key coalitions and campaign work. This position plays a central role in aligning our programming, staff development, and community partnerships with our commitment to racial, gender, economic, queer, and disability justice.

Community Meal Program Lead
The City School is seeking a Community Meal Program Lead. This role is a part-time position that supports the planning, preparation, and coordination of community meals across The City School’s programs. This position ensures that meals are nutritious, culturally responsive, and support a warm, intergenerational environment rooted in collective care and justice. The Program Lead will prepare meals for groups of 10–25, develop menus, consider dietary needs, maintain kitchen organization, and collaborate closely with staff and youth to strengthen our community meal practices. This is a temporary contractor position running from November 2025 to May 2026.
