Our Entrance

The City School's main entrance door is around the corner from 614 Columbia Road, on nearby Ramsey Street. Ramsey is a small one-way street directly off of Dudley and next to Payless Shoe Store.  The City School's entrance is half-way down Ramsey Street on the right.

Red Line

• Take the Red Line to Andrews Station stop
• From Andrews Station, you can take Bus #16 or Bus #17
• Both buses stop at Uphams Corner on Columbia Road (in front of Payless Shoes)
• The City School's entrance door is on Ramsey Street, a one-way street off of Dudley, next to the Payless Shoe Store. Walk down Ramsey; we are half-way down on the right.

  Orange Line -Forest Hills

• Take the Orange Line to Forest Hills stop
• Take Bus #16 to the Uphams Corner stop (ask the driver)
• Cross the street.
• The City School's entrance door is on Ramsey Street, a one-way parallel to Columbia and off of Dudley.
• Ramsey Street is next to the Payless Shoe Store. Walk down Ramsey; we are half-way down on the right.

  Orange Line -Ruggles

• Take the Orange Line to Ruggles
• Take the #15 bus to Uphams Corner on Columbia Road (in front of Payless Shoes)
• The City School's entrance door is on Ramsey Street, a one-way street off of Dudley, next to the Payless Shoe Store. Walk down Ramsey; we are half-way down on the right.

By Bus

The #15 and #44 buses on Dudley Street connect to the Orange line. 

The #16, #17 and #41 buses on Columbia Road connect to the Red line. 

By Commuter Rail

The Commuter Rail Readville Line stops at Uphams Corner. We are a 3-block walk from that stop. 

• Take the Readville Line to the Uphams Corner Stop.
• Walk down the stairs, turn left onto Dudley Street. Walk 3 blocks to Ramsey Street. Turn left onto Ramsey. Walk 1/2-way down Ramsey. Our entrance door is on the right.

Park in the free public parking lot directly across from our Ramsey Street entrance.

From I-93 North (I-95), i.e. Quincy, Weymouth, Hanover, etc.

• Take I-95 N to I-93 North
• Follow I-93 until it merges into Southeast Expressway
• Take the Morrissey Boulevard exit off SE Exwy towards JFK Library (exit #14)
• Merge onto Morrissey and enter the roundabout
• Take the 2^nd turn off onto Columbia Road.
• Follow Columbia Road past Dorchester Avenue. Bear left at the major 4-way intersection staying on Columbia Road.
• The City School is 1/2 mile further. Our formal address is 614 Columbia Road.
• Drive past 614 Columbia and turn right onto Dudley Street, and right again onto Ramsey Street.
• On Ramsey Street go half-way down, and park in the free lot on the left.

• Take I-95 to I-93 South
• Take I-93S/US-1S exit towards Boston
• Merge onto US-1
• US-1 turns into Central Artery
• Central Artery turns into MA-3S
• Take the Columbia Road exit towards JFK Library (exit #15)
• Keep right at the fork in the road and merge onto Columbia Road
• Follow Columbia Road past Dorchester Avenue.
